Did you know that I own two wrestling websites which are operated by two magnificent webmasters with little interference by me? Creating wrestling websites is how I got my start in the online world and I’m glad that both of my current webmasters and master of the game. The other day I was browsing on one of my websites and noticed a post about Total Nonstop Action coming to New Jersey. Being a fan of the product, I had to click on it to see what was going on.
Total Nonstop Action is the alternative brand of professional wrestling to the worldwide leader, World Wrestling Entertainment. The production value isn’t as good (they tape from the same location every other week and produce two weeks’ worth of shows from one setting) and the weekly television show is sometimes burdensome to watch, but the action in the ring is amazing. They have a guy named AJ Styles who does the most ridiculous stuff that I’ve ever seen. See for yourself:
Pretty amazing stuff, huh?
TNA will be in New Jersey at Convention Hall in Asbury Park on Friday, August 8th and at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton for their annual “Hard Justice” pay per view on Sunday, August 10th. Lucky me – I bought tickets for each show. 🙂

Ha ha ha! I can’t disagree too much. Sometimes I wonder who is booking this crap and it gets so frustrating when you have super-talented people like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles on the roster.

“The weekly television show is sometimes burdensome to watch”
That’s kind of like saying that the Titanic suffered slight damage when it was hit by an ice cube.
Steve says
TNA drives me nuts. I so want to support them because there’s so much fantastic talent there and the company has so much potential, but Vince Russo and the rest of the writing team haven’t a clue what they’re doing. 9 times out of 10 the angles don’t make sense, they add storylines and stipulations where they’re not needed, and the stips they add are so complicated that most people just give up. I know some casual fans, and none of them watch TNA. Unwatchable and retarded are words I often hear from them when TNA comes up in conversations. Can’t say I disagree. Still though, I watch. I want things to get better because I know they can. The sooner that the writer who took WCW from respectable ratings to a nonexistent company is fired, the sooner I think we’ll see improvement.
Joe says
Couldn’t agree more, Steve. Russo was good when he could blend his ideas with Ferrera and then have Vince temper the whole thing to a wrestling audience. No one gives a crap about this love triangle with Angle, Styles, and Karen! But Russo doesn’t have anyone tempering his angles or directing them to a wrestling audience and so we’re left with “Crash TV.”
Eddie says
I demand a “TBLWRESTLING.COM” sign at both shows!
Eddie says
You talked me and Justin up on here, by the way. Gotta love it! Much respect and love back to you! 🙂
Joe says
Hahaha! I will have the sign professionally prepared!
