Thanks, Martin. Even with these great video clips, I'm sort of ambivalent towards politics any more. And it's not just the politics - it's the news media, too. I watch FOX News and read the New York Times - can't get more "balanced" than that! But even still - these reporters are missing the real stories.

Take the Occupy nonsense for a minute. The story here is that everyone agreed with them during the first week or two, then they started getting taken over by other causes and groups which caused everyone to stop supporting them, and then they became this band of useless crybabies that no one wanted to hear any more. And yet TIME chooses them as the "Person of the Year?" Really? They haven't changed one bit of policy nor impacted any pending policies at the federal, state, or even local levels.

But what infuriates me the most is that no one is telling the real story of some of the folks who are running that movement. For example, I actually know one of the people who was a lead organizer for the Wall Street group and though the news media quoted him over and over, they never bothered to ask about him. They never bothered to learn that he comes from a family who is ridiculously wealthy, that he smoked away his chance at a college degree from a very costly institution, and that he had and has all of his expenses paid for him. I mean come on - talk about missing the forest for the trees.

And that's how I feel about politics these days, too. Look at Newt Gingrich - this is the guy who has all of the right answers and the ability to solve our country's major problems in a bipartisan way with solutions that will last for decades - if not centuries. Yet, the media has decided that he's not going to win so they're crushing him. Same thing was true of people on the Democratic side a few years ago (Hillary Clinton, for example).

It's all very disenfranchising, which is why I stick to posting video clips like this one on an infrequent basis. Anyway, I hope you're well!

Thanks, Ruiz. I finished reading his second and third books in this series and I'm looking forward to reading the rest. I have to get some time together to put up a review of the second and third books, so stay tuned over the next few days. I'm glad that I started reading Terry Goodkind's work - he really is a great fantasy writer.
