I got a parking ticket there today. The payment machines are garbage and take 5 minutes to process a payment made with a debit card. I entered space #319 at the machine but the ticket says space #819. I made a point of checking the space number when I parked but maybe I was wrong or maybe whoever wrote the ticket entered the wrong space number. The only way to know would require a trip back to Asbury Park. If I'm right then I'd still have to go to court to fight this or just give it up and pay the $30. What a system!

People coming back! Do you know how many people they lost because of these annoying meters. They're also incorrectly ticketing people because their "machines had a glitch" - I had two friends each get tickets and the spots were clearly paid for. It was such an annoyance for them to get it settled -- I guess it's good they kept their receipt.
