TC - And that's exactly my problem with them. Sirius XM stock has shot up a few pennies in the last few days (which is big for a stock that was worth a dime a share) and, like clockwork, Motley Fool posted a negative article about them.

I have the same problem that you do in that my stock tracker automatically links their articles. I'm betting that some of the young folks over at MF lost a ton of money on Sirius XM and now they're trying to get revenge on the company.

I'm rather curious about Motley Fool as well. Unfortunately, their articles are automatically linked to the stock tracker I use, and it seems that every time a slither of good news come out about Sirius/XM, Motley Fool immediately has 2 negative articles bashing the stock as if they are conducting an organized campaign against the company.

I figure that they've either got some kind of personal vendetta against Sirius/XM or their negativitity generates so much traffic through their website that it makes it worthwhile. Of course it wouldn't exactly be a surprise if they were trying to manipulate the stock for their own financial gain either. Whatever the reason, their behavior exposes them as something other than a source of professional journalism and I've simply stopped visiting their website.
