Vince Mc Mahon is just another stupid richman who wants protagonism…but I must recognise that he was just doing his job.The plot was probably a product of the imagination of a crazy scriptwriter…but nothing else.
Benoit,on the other hand,was an actual killer.He killed his wife and son,for God’s sake!!.
He might seem to be a good guy,we was one of the few wrestlers who don’t cheat in his fights…although those fights are as fake as McMahon’s death,the winner is probably decided before the fight..that’s why I only like spectacular wrestlers like the Hardy Brothers or Chavo Guerrero.If they’re gonna pretend I want them at least to entertain me.
Anyway,we shouldn’t trust the image that wrestlers have,because it’s totally fake.Good guys in wrestling are not always good guys in real life,Benoit was a murderer,but Cena,Batista or Lashley could be rapists or potential murderers as well…an the Undertaker,Kane,Booker,Finlay or Umaga might be really nice people…or perhaps not and they are fuckin’ bastards…who knows?.
Let’s forget about McMahon’s stupidity and concentrate on our own stupidity.We’re even more stupid than him,because either we believed his death or we’re offended because of it.Remember something,McMahon is a stupid asshole, Benoit was a murderer.

itz not bad what vince did. its just good tv, kids love excitment, n surprises. he’s made money doing this for years , and has learned from the best. it’s not “disgusting”. When it was time to get serious, he did just that. My little nephew loved the storyline, n i wish i could of be played out, but not everything is at the right time, and he just decided to do this at the wrong time. plain and simple, mcmahon is a great man, and knows what he is doing, he creates excitment, and if it wasnt for him UFC would be what people watches these days. Vince Mcmahon IS WWE. THNX

P.S.- For the benefit of all the ‘specials’ out there- No one actually thought Vince was dead! If you believe that, then you believe that the Undertaker really is a re-animated corpse, or that Umaga really is a Samoan cannibal, or that Kane can really summon fire from the ringposts, or that Booker T really is the King of something, or that The Boogeyman really is the ACTUAL Boogeyman, or that John Cena has any actual talent. Real Wrestling fans aren’t sitting around wondering if it was fake or not- we know it wasn’t. Real wrestling fans sit around and wonder if John Cena is supposed to be some whack-ass rapper, or a Marine, and who’s ass has he been kissing to get to where he is- which is a guy who has no real talent and everyone boos, but for some reason has been the Champ for months and months. WTF? At least the ‘Limo Explosion’ story would have allowed RAW fans to take our minds off of what a crappy champion we’ve had lately.

Everyone seems to be missing the obvious- RAW is a fictional show. No different than a soap opera, or a sitcom, or a cop drama. Do we react in actual disgust when someone on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ or ‘Scrubs’ loses a patient?
No, because we know it’s just a script. Do we get outraged when a character on
‘All My Children’ goes nuts and kills herself? No, because we know that it’s fake. So why make McMahon the bad guy, when he was just doing what every writer, producer, director, or actor in Hollywood is paid to do- provide revenue through the use of televised media.
And to everyone who says, ‘Now everyone will know it was a stunt’- DUH! Everyone already knew!! It was hinted at on previous shows, and hell, even the limo was a dead giveaway. You could tell that the limo was a prop before he even entered it! Was there anyone out there who actually believed it was anything other than a plot device?
The real monster here is Chris Benoit. He killed his family, and everyone wants to give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes, let’s all believe a killer is innocent, while we publicly massacre a man who’s very job it is to bring us sensational TV. Good idea!
Hey, while we’re at it, I just saw Bruce Willis kill a bunch of people! Really- it was on this commercial for something called ‘Die Hard’… We should go after that son of a bitch next! That will teach him to simulate death on TV!
Next up- Ted Bundy vs. ‘Reno 911!’- Who’s the REAL monster?

Its disgusting what vince did, now the whole world knows this was a stunt,but what Chris benoit did to his Family and himself is terrible,i cant beleive this has happened,i think the wwe will go to ruins because of this, and Vince could get in to a lot of trouble who knows,his worst nightmare might come true,maybe a Jail sentence, as he is the boss from the wwe, im sure the police will be investigating steriod use in the wwe.

Yes, but the stock price (which DID decrease) is only part of the crime of making false statements that may be viewed by shareholders or POTENTIAL share holders.

The other question is — Did Vince McMahon or anyone related to hime (Family, friends… or ANYONE that may know him) trade any shares from (say) 1-2 weeks before the fake “death” to just before the announcement that the false were indded false.

Well at least the FEC will be sure to make-it a priority to send　Vince McMahon (and others) to prison and be fined for this crime of misleading shareholders (Inside trading).

Thank you all for the comments. I think the Vince McMahon storyline was in bad taste from the beginning. Especially after he neglected to give “Sensational” Sherri Martel the respect that she deserved after her untimely death.

Well, there is certainly a point about his death being faked affecting stock prices, but I think it was nullified almost immediately as WWE admitted to CNBC that this was all a storyline and that Vince McMahon was still alive and well.

But who knows?
