Agree with the assessment of MSNBC. I didn’t see the the republican’s debate, but I did see the democrat’s debate the previous week. They had Keith Olberman as one of the analysis. I can only hope that they did not plaster his mug before and after the republican debate.

I was just completely turned off from the entire event by Matthews and the MSNBC production team. I was barely watchable. Sorta like WCW circa the Russo years.

And I think that Rudy came off looking a lot like one of the best Mayors that New York City has ever seen. Only he’s not running for Mayor this time around. I also think that the poor production value and horrible moderation really didn’t give any of the candidates a chance to shine (and I think this is also true of the Democratic debates that were on MSNBC).

That channel is a failed product. It’s completely ignorant for the Democratic candidates to not go on FOX News, but if they don’t want to go there then at least go to CNN or ABC News. MSNBC just can’t make these events work, period.

I don’t know about Matthews, but the Republican candidates came off looking horrible, especially Rudy. The man is just ignorant, honestly, but I do see the whole “popularity” unless the Dems are smart about exploiting him. The only Republican running that I am actually okay with so far is McCain.
