Nah - that song absolutely blows. There's nothing great about it and the message that you are suggesting is not accessible via the pathetic, morbid lyrics in the song. That message, while a good one, is completely lost in the misery of that song.

This song is ment for people that know where they are going after they die.To people that don't understand death and are fearful; of it because they don't know exactly where they are going... I would think that it would make them scared. But to those of us that know exactly where we will be, it is a wonderful song, because not only is she going to stop suffering... She is going to be forever in the prescence of our Lord and Savior and our creator? What is sad about that? She is going to a beautiful place where there won't be any more pain, but only rejoicing and love and laughter..who wouldn't want to look pretty when you meet your creator, the one who shed his blood for you!

The fact that a little kid would understand this and be happy for his mommy instead of being miserable is so uplifting because even at his young age he understands the love of God for his children. He understands that it is not a bad thing, that his mom is going to be happy and that eventually he will also someday be rejoicing with her. As a mother, I would love for my 2 year old me soo mature in Christ as that little kid, knowing where he stands and knowing Jesus more that most adults..
