Have you ever tried to put a new door up in an old house? Yuck. I spent a few hours today trying to retro fit a brand new door onto my older brother’s bedroom, but it didn’t work.

It was a rousing effort of manual planing, sanding with a small, insignificant piece of sandpaper, and drilling with a neighbor’s drill. This really should have been on a comedy channel or something.

The moral of today’s life story is that you don’t attempt a construction job (no matter how minor the job SHOULD be) unless you have the proper tools to complete the job the right way. And now I’m tired!
