Now that Governor Deep Pockets successfully scared his fellow Democrats into raising this state’s sales tax from 6% to 7%, I (along with hundreds of thousands of other New Jerseyans) cannot WAIT to express my displeasure at the polls the next time that we get a chance.
I’ve never ventured into working for a campaign or doing much jaw-jacking about a state campaign, but I might look into working for one this time around. By the way – there is YET to be someone to take the public stage, besides Governor Money Bags, and say, “YES! We WANT this sales tax increase! It doesn’t matter that we’re the most over-taxed state in the union – New Jersey residents want to give MORE money to the state!”
I’m waiting for the hero politician to stand up and say that. And if they don’t say it publicly, that’s fine too. Because they already said it by voting for this debacle of a budget and their vote on this budget will define their various re-election campaigns come November.
