Thanks go out to Martin for sending me an invite to join Google Mail a.k.a. GMail. In the words of more than one person that I’ve talked to, people just can’t live without this new e-mail address!

I’m going to give this thing a shot, but already having e-mail accounts @yahoo.com, @sigmapi.com, @thebalrogslair.com. @theparkviewinn.com, @geocities.com, @alumni.monmouth.edu, and @eden.rutgers.edu will make focusing on this e-mail address a bit harder. However, if it is half as good as everyone has told me, then maybe I’ll just wind up having all of those e-mails filtered into the gmail account. Who knows?

In any event, I have a new toy to play with this holiday weekend (in between celebration and partying, that is). So GMail’s the thing, huh? Well…we’ll just see about that.
