How great are movie channels?

I’ve had them available to me on my television for the past however many years and I really haven’t taken advantage of them until the past few weeks. Just in the past couple of days I’ve watched Haunted Mansion, Cheaper by the Dozen, Lethal Weapon, Scary Movie 3, Welcome to Mooseport, Happy Gilmore, and a few other random movies.

Sure, they’re not the best movies that were ever made and some of the movies that I’ve watched I actually have on DVD, but it’s pretty nice to be able to lay down and flip on the TV and watch a movie that was either recently in the theater or a classic.

Now some people are all about satellite or digital cable. I don’t have this, but it seems that everyone else I know (including my parents) have it. What do you think of it? I don’t know – it seems like I just don’t have the time to be able to take advantage of its full potential.
