Going home again
March 28th, 2004 | Added to Random Entries

One of the best things about being in my early twenties (23 for those of you who don’t know) is that I’m at that stage of life where it’s alright to still go home and stay there for a while.

This past Christmas I stayed at home for about 3 weeks (actually, it might have been a little longer). Those three weeks were my longest stint at home in about three years – since I moved into my own place by my undergraduate college. Oh man, it was great! Free food, free utilities, free anything I wanted, really.

I don’t quite have a direction here with this other than saying that if you are my age – or any age really – and you are living away from home, just remember, it’s ok to go home again and not just go home again, but to really enjoy your time there. A lot of people that are my age sometimes feel this inadequacy about going home and staying there. Well, that’s a ton of BS. I went home today and stayed for dinner with my family and shopping with my Mom and my Aunt – it was great. Add in the talks with my father and the overall loving atmosphere of my home – well, all told, it’s fun to go home again for a little while!
